El Peñón

El Peñón is a very famous reference point in Santa Teresa. It practically marks the end of Santa Teresa and the beginning of Playa Hermosa.   There are a lot of stories about this rock, according to our beloved gardener, Burgos, whose been living in Santa Teresa his whole life. From big earthquakes separating the rock to strange lights at night, these stories go on and on.  But without a doubt ,it´s an stunning rock formation, which allows beautiful tide pools to form around it during the low tide.
